Anything is safe until it kills you.

I loved this short story. It's well written, it has a nice feel to it, like for the first time you touch silk, for example, and you are amazed by how it moves in your hands. That's the way this story made me feel. Lately I'm really into short stories, because I haven't read much of them over the years and I recently found out I have a passion for them, so I devour anything that I can find.

Kij Johnson is one good writer and she can put thoughts into words without missing a single idea! Love love love it!
