Bel-Ami - Guy de Maupassant, Douglas Parmée Well. This was an interesting read. It had been recommended to me as a really nice "portrait of human kind", and I must agree with that. Every character in this book is a human "typical", and they are so greatly and amazingly well described!

I really liked the ending of the book, I believe that was the best part - I've always been a sucker for a great last paragraph, and this story's final lines didn't disappoint me at all!

A great read, one of the classics, it's a must for everyone!
