Even though I am a fan of Irvine Welsh's series of books that include the characters you definetelly know if you've read "Porn" or "Trainspotting", I thought "Reheated Cabbage" was not impressive from the subject point of view. AS a writer, Welsh has a lot of power and can make reading extremelly easy for the reader. But the collection of stories from this book.. I felt they were somehow weaker in power than the books he has written.
Nevertheless, it's another good book you should have on your "never to become like them" shelf! :))
