King Lear (The New Folger Library Shakespeare)
Alas, I have finished this book!
It has been the equivalent of climbing Everest for me, considering that I have a fear of classics that is deeply set in my soul.
Yes, it is a powerful tragedy, so powerful that I feel the need to take a break and read something simple and easy to understand!
It's very passionate and for a human being with a really wobbly emotional system, it's heart-rending! It has all that a book set in a past history should have : knights, love, loyalty, self-sacrifice.. everything!
This is a book that will last as long as the world goes on.
